Lifeguard Training

This morning, here in Esterillos, a small group of local young people met on the beach to begin the first step to achieving certification as a lifeguard for beautiful Costa Rica.  Willy Alvarez, who is from Daytona, Florida but also owns a condo here, presented the program and supervised the first requirement, a 500 meter swim in the ocean.  All participants completed the task and are now on their way to this much needed service for their country.
