Gustavo

Gustavo is my Tico friend who has been working as the bartender at "The Shake" Bar and Restaurant since early 2007.  That was when I met him along with the two owners Bob and Will, both from Texas.  Last June, Bob died of a heart attack and shortly after that Will put the bar up for sale. 

Unfortunately the bar has not sold and now Will is closing the doors and shutting it down - Tomorrow!

This past week Gustavo asked me to take some photos of him.  Esterillos Oeste has been a huge part of his life these past 6 years.  He and his dog Chiquita will soon be leaving and he wanted something to remind him of the good times.  These are the photos of the beautiful walk we had.
