Father's Day

Today is Father's Day in the states.  My father is no longer alive and he was not a good father.....but for some reason fathers were on my mind. Fortunately I had my camera with me and devoted this walk to taking photos of the fisherman's boats in honor of Father's Day.  A man who loves his family is a wonderful thing.  A man who is faithful and devoted to his children prepare them to grow up with confidence and trust.  It is a selfless gift not all men have the ability to give.  To all the great men I have known - and you know who you are - may you have a special day of awareness for the good you have done.  Happy Father's Day.
