2nd Annual EO Thanksgiving

Last year Thanksgiving was held at El Vago's - one of the bars on the beach.  On Monday, Steve calls Brett and says let's do it again.  I was at Soda Mary when the call came in and immediately jumped into action.  After a brief discussion as to how many turkeys we might need, an e-mail went out, the sign up list was created.  Thanksgiving was on.

The day began with surfing!  High tide was at 4:50 a.m.  By 7 am..... me, Les, Richard, Brett, Pete, Willy and Michele, North Carolina Steve, Keely, Anna, Eric, Vago, Jeff plus a couple others were all in the water.  After crappy waves for the past few months.....this was a gift.  Waves for everyone!

With all the rain we have had for seemingly months.....yesterday gave us a break and presented us with a perfect day.

Thanksgiving in Esterillos - No china, no folded cloth napkins, no silver platters.......Just the simple true elements of Thanksgiving:  Families, friends, delicious food...... sharing one awesome meal on a beautiful day - harmoniously.......together.

High Season is around the corner.....Thanksgiving was the kickoff.......Here we go.........
