Beach Ride Cut Short

My friend Elizabeth is presently in Holland with her daughter Emma visiting family.  Before she left, she told me I was welcome to ride her horses when I wanted.

So....yesterday - after arrangements had been made with William, who takes care of the horses for El - Karen, William and I all started out for a ride.  Unfortunately, about 1/2  mile up the beach, my horse Rio started limping.  I immediately got off and we all walked back home.

The other horses are in need of shoes so our ride has now been postponed.  It was fun while it lasted - another day will come.
